Position Title Hydraulic Design Engineer Location : Noida Position Requirements Minimum 4 years of experience in hydraulic design/CFD domain with hands on experience in Hydraulic Design of Centrifugal Pumps. Must have good command on 3D modeling. Must be able to strive for excellence while working in a fast paced environment. Software Skills 3D modeling tools (Solidworks/ProE) CFD (ANSYS, CFX Fluent) Hydraulic Design software like CFTurbo, BladeGen TurboDesign etc. Expertise in Matlab will be preferred Key Interfaces Design Engineers across the teams within office Hydraulic Design Experts across the organization (Globally) Mechanical Design, Marketing and performance testing teams Qualifications and Experience: M.E. / M. Tech With minimum 4+ years of experience in Pump design/CFD domain. Other Requirements: Strong Analytical skills Good understanding of fluid dynamics Good communication skills Essential functions: Expertise in hydraulic design of new pumps using legacy approach or by using appropriate design software. Simulate existing designs using various CFD tools and find the opportunity to optimize the performance hydraulics losses in the product. Expertise in CFD tools used to simulate pump performance. Understand the flow patterns and recognize the recirculation zones/vortices in the flow domain. Should be strong in both CFD approaches- MRF Sliding Mesh. Suggest and validate design changes to improve the existing product performance. Analyze test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications.
