We are experiencing exponential growth. We have an immediate opening for a Programmer Analyst to join us as at our head office in Richmond, BC.

As a Programmer Analyst you will be reporting to the Vice President, IT and will have a direct impact on a number of innovative initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working with IT and business stakeholders as part of a cohesive team, designs, tests, builds and maintains software systems that support Peak’s strategic goals
  • Participate as part of a dynamic team to provide innovative solutions, business process automation and top notch support that will positively impact Peak’s team and our customers.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining source code, databases and technical documentation relating to Peak’s enterprise systems
Key Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in computer science or equivalent experience
  • 3 – 5 years of related experience
  • Strong knowledge of web technology including JavaScript, HTML5 and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Technologies; C#, .NET, SQL Server
  • Working knowledge of PHP
  • Experience with one or more cross-platform mobile development platforms (PhoneGap(Apache Cordova), Sencha Touch, Appcelerator Titanium, etc) is a bonus
  • Good understanding of UX design principles and practices
  • Working understanding of SOA and experience with web services
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV is also an asset
  • Self-starter who can work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong team player
  • Very strong organizational, task management, and prioritization skills
