We are experiencing exponential growth. We have an immediate opening for a Programmer Analyst to join us as at our head office in Richmond, BC.
As a Programmer Analyst you will be reporting to the Vice President, IT and will have a direct impact on a number of innovative initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with IT and business stakeholders as part of a cohesive team, designs, tests, builds and maintains software systems that support Peak’s strategic goals
- Participate as part of a dynamic team to provide innovative solutions, business process automation and top notch support that will positively impact Peak’s team and our customers.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining source code, databases and technical documentation relating to Peak’s enterprise systems
Key Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in computer science or equivalent experience
- 3 – 5 years of related experience
- Strong knowledge of web technology including JavaScript, HTML5 and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Technologies; C#, .NET, SQL Server
- Working knowledge of PHP
- Experience with one or more cross-platform mobile development platforms (PhoneGap(Apache Cordova), Sencha Touch, Appcelerator Titanium, etc) is a bonus
- Good understanding of UX design principles and practices
- Working understanding of SOA and experience with web services
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV is also an asset
- Self-starter who can work independently or as part of a team
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong team player
- Very strong organizational, task management, and prioritization skills
