Financial Analyst CiCi's Pizza - Dallas/Fort Worth Area

Job Title:  Financial Analyst

Department:  Finance

Reports to:  Director of FP&A

FLSA Status:  Exempt

General Purpose of the Position:

Responsible for general financial analysis, forecasting, and budget analytics.  Evaluate performance versus budgets, intra-year projections, and prior years.  Analyze acquisition store performance, monthly financial statements, and related variances.  Create, maintain, and monitor metrics to measure company performance.  Assist in the administration of the MicroStrategy system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage annual budget preparation for corporate stores
• Assist in creation of complete Company budget and intra-year projections
• Complete company store performance analysis, store level economics, and expectations
• Facilitate monthly meetings with the Ops team
• Complete financial modeling and analysis for capital expenditure and other major expenditure requests
• Complete Food and Labor benchmarking and analysis
• Responsible for coordinating training of business users in existing and new tools
• Work with Company and Franchise Operations on effective and accurate management reporting
• Variety of ad hoc analysis

Skills and Abilities Required:

• Analytical and communication skills required
• Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitoring of own work to ensure quality
• Must be able to plan and schedule accordingly to ensure all deadlines are met
• Highly motivated, responsible, strong initiative and comfortable in a fast paced environment 
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills and ability to effectively interact with all levels of management
• Ability to handle highly confidential materials and information

Computer Equipment and Software Requirements:

• Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point. Outlook
• Experienced knowledge with Microsoft Nav software preferred
• Experience with MicroStrategy preferred

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant technical area

• 3-5 years experience as an Analyst or similar role
