The Role
Finance

The Finance Division supports senior management in the areas of cost and budgetary control and in ensuring compliance with prevailing policies from government ministries and A*STAR. It also sets financial policies and guidelines, and provides timely management information towards better resource management. It adds value to A*STAR and A*STAR-funded entities by delivering a range of financial management services

Responsibilities

• Provide support for an R&D institute on financial matters, including but not limited to budgeting, expenditure utilisation analysis, management and Audit Committee reporting
• Ensure compliance with finance policies and procedures and Financial Reporting Standards
• Prepare presentation materials and present the financial results of the Institute at half yearly Audit Committee meetings

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• 3-5 years of finance experience
• Good command of Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of SAP system will be advantageous
