~~POSITION SUMMARY
The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for day to day function of weekly payroll processing and accurate invoicing. In addition, will work with any time keeping functions as necessary for the Company. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to processing payroll and managing the timekeeping process including but not limited to maintaining related records, checking and auditing timekeeping reports, documenting and updating procedures and preparing reports for submission to payroll and management. Preparation of invoices will be part of responsibilities as well.

Ii. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Assist in process of weekly, multi state Payroll for a staffing company with 50+ customers and 600+ employees.
Upload hours from work records timekeeping system.
Calculate Pay eligibility for Vacation, Sick and Personal time.
Submit time sheets and hours to payroll company for accurate processing in timely manner.
Prepare, analyze and print various reports for Payroll and Key Management members.
Maintain Timekeeping Database - setup new sites and employees/inactivate closed accounts.
Troubleshoot application problems associated with Timekeeping.
Timely handling of adjustments and employee related concerns and updates to employee accounts.
Analyze timekeeping reports and follow-up with management.
Maintain user's accounts in timekeeping system.
Knowledge of Payroll Labor Laws.
Conduct independent and in-depth payroll analyses.
Address any compliance and accuracy issues.
Other Duties as Assigned.
III. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Proficient with MS Office Suite -- Word, Excel

IV. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Degree Required
Four (4) to Six (6) years experience, billing, payroll and automated timekeeping a plus.

V. Other Skills
Computer -- proficiency in computer use (Microsoft Office to include - Word, Excel, e-mail, internet, etc.) Knowledge in Temps Plus preferred.
Bi-Lingual fluent in Spanish
