P2P Senior Lead Zoetis - San José, CR


Leading the P2P - US Payments Team (1st-2nd & 3rd Level AP Inquiries Support and AP HelpDesk area) driving continuous improvements, enhancing organizational capability, technical development as well as identifying and executing process improvements, establishing a collaborative environment with Zoetis Colleagues and suppliers. To effectively lead US Payments Team by communication, planning and seamless execution, acting as first level of support and escalation for US Accounts Payable inquiries. This role manages invoices volume queues in order to ensure daily work proper and timely flow, as well as make sure that special cases are processed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the US Payments Team to meet standards:

  • Responsible for developing and enabling the teams preparation to succeed
  • Ensure day to day operational deliverables and established goals are met
  • Ensure flawless initiative and projects execution
  • Monitor quality and consistency of Accounts Payable Processes across the team, targeting standardization of best practices
  • Demonstrates self-directed and proactive approach to tackling problems and leveraging resources. Cascades a clear vision and purpose among the team members
  • Clear on task prioritization, workload and escalation management
  • Properly and Timely escalate system errors related to work processes
  • P2P US Monthly Measures
  • Productivity Best Practices knowledge required in order to canalize internal resources and customers' feedback to drive stewardship, cost savings, better resources utilization, cost avoidance and productivity
  • Develop effective and trust-based working relationships with colleagues-partners and management


Knowledge, Skills And Experience Required
  • At least 5 years of Accounts Payable experiences as lead
  • SAP System Mastery (Material Management and AP modules)
  • Ownership: Exhibits accountability, ownership and decision making capabilities. This role has direct contact with Zoetis Colleagues and top vendors therefore he/she will have to drive key relationship that will benefit the company.
  • Proactive: Anticipate negative business impact, based on daily reports and measures.
  • Productivity Best Practices knowledge required in order to canalize internal resources and customers' feedback to drive stewardship, cost savings, better resources utilization, cost avoidance and productivity
