As an ambassador of Eataly products and services, our Fresh Pasta Sales Associate is responsible for helping to create and maintain quality experiences for each guest that comes to Eataly. Eataly ambassadors are expected to actively engage with guests and spend quality time with each customer.

Job Title: Fresh Pasta Sales Associate

Reports To: Fresh Pasta Manager

Job Description:
The Fresh Pasta Sales Associate is responsible for helping to assist with the retail sales and customer service of the fresh pasta counter in Eataly’s pasta-making facility. This is a hands-on position where the majority of time will be spent working with customers and products according to Eataly standards.  The Fresh Pasta Sales Associate will merchandise and sell pastas in accordance with Eataly’s unique philosophy and will ensure that the products produced meet our quality standards while maintaining a clean and sanitary food area. 

Duties And Responsibilities
• Responsible for selling different pastas according to Eataly’s customer service philosophy, and for experimenting and collaborating on the creativity of the station.
• Advises customers on their pasta choices while weighing and packaging their choices, delivering outstanding customer service.
• Consistently checks product and adjusts methods to achieve high quality pasta.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary food production area
• Provides support as needed to all Eataly departments
 

Minimum Qualifications
• At minimum 1 year of experience in a food environment, with experience in fresh pasta making preferred.
• Degree from a post-secondary culinary arts training program is highly preferred.
• Must have completely open availability to suit the needs of Eataly
• Knowledge of and passion for the food industry, with a strong interest in food and high quality products; desire to learn and grow in his or her fresh pasta knowledge.
• Strong organizational and decision-making skills, along with the ability to recognize what needs to be prioritized and when.

Evening and weekend availability required
