Director Product Marketing - Digital Merchandising Sabre - Grapevine, US-TX

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Designs, implements and directs the development of company market requirements for specific product(s) or product line(s), including product strategy definition, requirements analysis and pricing. Monitors the development of business plans, managing lifecycles and product positioning in the marketplace. Reduces broad concepts and business strategies into structured product marketing plans. Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity and identifies customer needs. Establishes pricing strategies. Interacts with engineering, manufacturing and sales to enhance existing product(s) or product line(s). Leads new product definition and business plans with joint departments. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. May have P&L responsibility. Manages activities of two or more sections.

Desired Skills and Experience

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent. EXPERIENCE: Minimum 10 years related experience; 8 years prior management experience. Advanced computer software skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to handle multiple projects. Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions and/or customers. Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations without damage to the relationship.
