Manager, Recruitment Asia Pacific - Hilton Worldwide-Singapore Area Office

What will I be doing?


A Manager, Recruitment Asia Pacific will work closely with the stakeholders on the complete resourcing cycle, understanding their needs and advising on the appropriate recruitment strategy. This role will support the talent acquisition framework, infrastructure and strategies in close partnership with the business, develop relationships with external strategic partners and lead the staffing process for Revenue Management Consolidated Center (RMCC)

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
  • Assist the Senior Director, Recruitment – APAC to build strong relationships with APAC senior leadership to determine upcoming staffing needs through workforce planning.
  • Support and advise the APAC senior management on recruitment matters, demonstrating advanced recruitment knowledge and subject matter expertise to agree on best practice recruiting strategy.
  • Use the Recruitment Management System, Taleo, to post vacancies, advertise internally and externally, track candidates, correspond with candidates and initiate offers for corporate roles.
  • Work closely with APAC Compensation & Benefits team & Senior Director, Recruitment – APAC to structure and negotiate compensation with successful candidates, recruitment agencies and Hiring Managers.
  • Maintain and develop productive relationships with key staffing agencies including negotiating and managing terms of business and resolving any disputes which may arise.
  • Deliver seamless offer administration and on-boarding process, in conjunction with the HR Operations teams.
  • Oversee the Employee Referral Program and work to increase rate of referral and hires.
  • Improve quality and cost effectiveness management of external agencies and develop new recruitment channels.
  • Support mass-recruitment events and deliver specific recruitment projects as required.
  • Constantly collect market intelligence based on information gathered through interviewing candidates and liaising with recruitment agencies.
  • Stay abreast of trends and innovate recruitment techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruitment practices.
  • Direct collaborative efforts and marshal resources throughout Hilton Worldwide, including internal/external resources and other constituent groups as appropriate with aim of furthering Company goals.
  • Manage change, resolve conflicts and ensure collaboration within teams and/or units; includes maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity.
  • Ensure absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
  • Strong problem solving skills, effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate and proactively identify as well as prevent potential problems.
  • Evaluate and identify opportunities from a strategic perspective, including develop, prioritize and implement plans to meet Company’s core strategic goals.

  • 4 year college degree or significant work experience in lieu thereof.
  • Stable track record and recruitment experience in a high volume recruitment environment.
  • Strong knowledge in a full life-cycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, job analysis, relationship management with stakeholders, vendors and candidates.
  • Strong project management, organizational and time management skills.
  • Possess excellent presentation and public speaking skills, as well as excellent written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Strong data management/analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint etc.
  • Ability to travel when required.
  • Regional experience in recruitment with proven record in delivering results in a highly matrix culture (preferred).
  • Internal recruitment experience combined with recruitment agency experience(preferred).
