The Role
INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER
* Lead and Supervise Assist IEs to establish and maintain MM/BOM/
BomBos/ Routing, time standards, material usage , packaging
standards in SAP system
* Coordinate with other MM view coordinators to ensure timely
completion of MM etc database
* Establish, collect and verify relevant production related data (e.g.
packaging data, part weight etc) to support SAP database
* Assist IE/Snr IE in conducting manufacturing Time/Method studies.
*DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Lead and Supervise Assist IEs to establish and maintain MM/BOM/
BomBos/ Routing, time standards, material usage , packaging standards in SAP system.
* Train & coach new staff on the SAP database setup and IE related
application.
* Interpret product drawings, ECN checking and screening
* Create and maintain MM, BOM, Routing and Packaging standard in SAP
* Analyze production process, product costing element for product cost
reduction troubleshooting
* Establish & verify relevant production related standard data (e.g.
part weight , packaging data etc) for in-house manufacturing
* Co-ordinate and ensure the completion of drop test for new packaging
* Conduct time study for sub-out process and in-house machine rate for
cost reduction and system rate accuracy
* Conduct & monitor monthly particle count at Production control room
*EDUCATION:
* Diploma in Engineering or equivalent. (Preferred: • Industrial
Engineering)
*WORK EXPERIENCE:
* Dip holder with min 2 years related experiences / NTC 2 with >5
years of relevant experiences
* Preferably with manufacturing working experience
*SKILLS & ABILITIES:
* Proficiency in PC knowledge and application.
* Experienced with manufacturing working experiences
* Experienced with SAP system preferred
