Basic Functions
Position is responsible for the execution of all Brand related projects for the Asian Channel in North America. The Brand Marketing Associate will manage all project timelines associated with but not limited to Advertising Campaigns, Packaging Design, Website Development, Social Media, Point of Sales Materials, Consumer and Trade Events etc. The Creative Strategy and Creative Design for all of the aforementioned projects will be developed with direction from the SVP of Sales and Marketing
The Brand Marketing Associate must display strong creative and analytical skills to access opportunities and manage cross-functional teams and outside agencies to achieve the parameters outlined for successful execution. Ability to multi-task and manage projects in various stages of the process in order to execute projects on a quarterly, semi-annual or annual basis.
The Brand Marketing Associate must be highly organized, self-motivated, comfortable initiating projects, have strong interpersonal skills and make presentations in either English or Chinese. The Marketing Coordinator position will report directly into the Brand Marketing Associate.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Managing Project Timelines
• Manage and mentor the Marketing Coordinator
• Support Sales Initiatives
• Attending Press Runs, Photo Shoots and off-site meetings (including Canada)
• Organizing and attending Consumer Events, Trade Shows and Department Meetings
• Have an understanding of qualitative and quantitative research.
• Work with multiple agencies from printers, package designers, PR, consumer promotion and advertising agencies, newspapers, radio stations
• Co-ordinate projects with Hong Kong & China and be willing to work with colleagues in different national and global time zones.
• Development of Social Media and Public Relations Plan
• Enhance the team-based, results driven culture.
Minimum Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in Marketing with minimum of 3-5 years work experience
(MBA preferred but not required if proven, related experience in brand mgt)
Fluent in both written and spoken English and either Cantonese or Mandarin
Strong analytical skills
Strong leadership skills and ability to manage/direct people
Strong computer skills, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook (Photoshop or Illustrator a plus)
Must have strong capability and ability to multi-task from tight deadlines to long-range projects
Must be independent thinker, proactive, and strong initiator
Ability to use telephone, computer, fax and copy machines
Ability to make presentations in small or large groups
