This role is a 1 year contractor within the Regional FAC GLAM area of Finance Department, who will be responsible for all aspects of production work for GLAM Closing and Controls in APAC.

The primary role of this candidate is to provide financial accounting, control and analytical support to Global Asset Management (GLAM) Asia Pacific , which will include the following:
The primary role of this candidate is to provide financial accounting, control and analytical support to Global Asset Management (GLAM) Asia Pacific , which will include the following:
- Perform month-end closing (including P/L & B/S review and journal postings) for GLAM APAC.
- Monitoring and control of key operational processes supporting the business and ensure compliance to internal control standards, Accounting policy and other operational risk framework.
- Revenue monitoring and performing daily control procedures for GLAMs books and records.
- Balance sheet verification process and signoff for GLAM business.
- Review and continuous enhancement of control procedures to ensure all Global control standards are met.
- Co-ordination of any changes in business organisation that impact the general ledger and cost centre structure.
- Participate in system implementation projects that have an impact on GLAM APAC.
- Handle ad-hoc queries from GLAM stakeholders on management reports, financial data.
- Maintenance of static data in MIS system, eg updating data files.
- Coordinating and submitting cost centre requests to Control Group.
- Costs monitoring, accrual and adjustment process for GLAM business.
- Revenue split, allocation and intersystem control process.
- Hyperion preparation, adjustment, reconciliation and submission.
- Support in billing exercise.
- Support in estimates exercise.
Our ideal candidate should possess the following requisites:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 1 – 5 years of relevant experience
- Possess strong accounting knowledge & analytical skills
- Possess good understanding of accounting standards & policies
- Be able to articulate & highlight issues and be persistent in following up and resolving them
- Posses excellent interpersonal skills
- Be proficient in MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint) and SAP General Ledger / Business Warehouse and Hyperion
- Product Control experience in an Investment bank highly advantageous
