Solution Manager - Connected Vehicles Business Network at SAP

The SAP Connected Vehicles Business Network is a startup*like activity within SAP with the focus on establishing and growing a business network for vehicle related services, such as parking, fueling, access to quick-service restaurants, just to name a few. The candidate will be responsible for driving the solution roadmap, managing requirements, and rolling out to the network ecosystem existing and new innovative services of the SAP Connected Vehicle Business Network. The candidate will work in close collaboration with Customers, Partners, and SAP field organization (marketing, sales, pre-sales, consulting) as well as our engineering stakeholders such as development, quality management and knowledge Management. The SAP Connected Vehicle Business Network Management team is looking for a dynamic Solution Manager. His/her main objective is to design, develop, and deliver innovative and delightful services, driving early customer adoption which will help meet and exceed the business revenue targets.

As Solution Manager, you will have significant responsibility for delivering compelling services from concept*to*market including market analysis, identification of user needs, storyboarding, brainstorming, strategy development, prototyping, service delivery, quality assurance, support, and go-to-market.
* Execute on the product strategy and vision evaluating end*user desirability, economic viability, and technical feasibility
* Create compelling market validated use cases & lead ideation
* Create storyboards to effectively communicate functional specs to design and development team
* Interact with enterprise customers, service providers and prospects to co*innovate and test the requirements
* Gather requirements, develop the business case, drive the roadmap execution and help take the services to market
* Be the champion for SAP Connected Vehicles Business Network, both externally and internally
* Effectively work with Sales, Marketing, Services, Support, Development, Design and other SAP organizations & Partners
* Develop a strong understanding of the business network market

Desired Skills and Experience

* At least 5 years of experience in roles such as Solution Management, Solution Strategy, Solution Marketing and Solution Design
* Experienced in working with customers, Field, and engineering
* Successful track record on previous assignments

* Proven track record of out*of*the*box, innovative thinking and having commercial impact with delivering new solutions
* Passion for building great new solutions
* “Can-do” mentality, and willingness to challenge the status-quo when needed
* A diversity of prior experiences, a career trajectory that indicates informed risk*taking and resilience in the face of adversity
* An ability to thrive despite ambiguity, and to develop opportunities where others see road-blocks
* Exceptional written, visual and direct*communication skills to effectively engage with technical and non*technical teams
* Executive presentation skills for internal & customer interaction
* Ability to build strong relationships and navigate a complex global organization with entrepreneurial passion
* Strategic thinking and execution with attention to detail
* Experience in design thinking and agile development methodology
* B.S. in Business/Computer Science or related area. MBA or Master’s degree a strong plus
