Vitasoy USA located in Ayer, MA is in need of an experienced Maintenance/Electro Mechanical Technician. Responsibilities include repair and preventative maintenance of production equipment on food manufacturing lines. Responsibilities include:
- Provides electrical, pneumatic and mechanical skills in the set-up, maintenance, repair and operation of all types of production equipment and related systems
- Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts
- Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections
- Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
- Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments
- Installs special functional structural parts in devices
- Performs PM inspections as outlined noting equipment deficiencies
- Install, troubleshoot and maintain a variety of electrical electronic equipment
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess - 2-3 years of Mechanical Maintenance experience
- Food manufacturing equipment repair experience preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend
- Must be able to read and comprehend procedures and manuals
- Experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting automated industrial equipment preferred
