SAP Business System Analyst The China Navigation Company - Singapore

The Scope

• Hold responsible for partnering with business/user group representatives to understand business processes and underlying informational and/or process automation needs, then translating those needs into formal, documented business requirements following methodologies and processes
• Support cross functional analysis of the company’s operations, business and functional requirements and recommend or provide application solutions
• Support investigational analysis and evaluation to determine application feasibility
• Gather requirements, perform extensive analysis of current business processes, carry out gap analysis, and recommend solutions and deploy to sites according to templates for global standards.
• Support User Acceptance testing.
• Conduct Unit tests, Integration tests and System Integration security tests.
• Provide on Post Go-Live Support.
• Hands-on system configuration and documentation on SAP MM
• Design and configure SAP MM processes and interfaces for other modules/systems
• Prepare and maintain documentation, including procedures, system specifications, technical documentation, computer training materials and user manuals in compliance with legal and regulatory authorities and records management best practices.
• Initiate and monitor all change requests from business so as to ensure timely and accurate dispositions.
• Ensure that Change Request procedures are established and enforced.
• Support the analysis of business initiatives; provide input to the development of business cases and project measurement objectives.
• Support the development of cost and benefit estimates to establish project worth, including the development of alternatives and recommendations for new acquisitions or changes to existing applications or equipment.
• Support feasibility studies; recommends and establishes program objectives, priorities and schedules in conjunction with user and functional requirements and conducts end-user training, as needed, for assigned applications.
• Track project deliverables and ensure project implementations/enhancements are completed within budget, schedule and quality standards by vendors.

Desired Skills and Experience

The Requirement

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in at least 2 full cycles of SAP implementation on SAP MM modules and at least 5 years of strong experience in supporting SAP MM modules.
• Experience in SAP ECC6.0 and SAP certification in SAP modules (MM) is an added advantage.
• Strong experience with requirement analysis, business process design, SAP MM configuration, cross module integration, formal application testing strategies, cut over strategies, incident handling procedures and post go live support.
• Relationship management experience in support of Business units.
• Working exposure in the maritime industry will be an advantage.
