Information Leadership & Strategic
Extensive knowledge of Wholesale Banking products and processes, including Treasury, Channels and Credit. Using knowledge of Wholesale Banking domains to drive complex and comprehensive information architectures for transactional and business intelligence strategies. Leader in developing information strategy and associated polices with traditional databases, master & reference data and ETL methods, as well as, the evolving technologies of Active Data Warehousing, Data Services, Big Data, Streaming Analytics and NoSQL: provides thought leadership to define and drive information strategies and frameworks. Ensures data and information assets are supported by an architecture that furthers the achievement of strategic goals. Leads efforts to define and adopt effective Data management, data governance and data standards. Represent the organization on architecture review boards, COEs, and related bodies.
Governance / Oversight
Provides critical alignment between Technology and Business processes. Ensure critical alignment to Enterprise data standards – Quality, Metadata, Linkage, Reference data, Provisioning strategy etc.
Program Accountability / Design Authority
Provide information architecture leadership on architecture engagements aligned to projects and initiatives, including vendor and solution assessments, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Information model definition, Information management consulting and review. Identifies business requirements and ensures the design adequately meets the requirements of the project, while remaining aligned with the overall program strategy and architecture.
Enterprise Role Overview
Participates in the development and maintenance of a business and system architecture and conducts business information flow studies. Provides integrated systems planning and recommends new or different technologies that will enhance current systems and support overall corporate and business goals. Conducts system architecture studies of new and existing IT systems to permit development of integrated systems that operate at low cost levels. Recommends the appropriate computer platform, work stations and communication linkage required to support distributed and client server business processes and information flows. Interfaces with business areas to ensure all initiatives support business strategies and goals. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities as a team member or as an individual contributor. Will not have direct reports but will influence and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. Provides input on staffing, budget and personnel. Typically 7-10 years of systems experience.

• Must have 7-10 years of prior working knowledge / hands on experience of capabilities and direction of technology - ETL, MDM solutions, relational databases (transactional and data warehouse), BI Platforms, Metadata, Data Lineage, Data Quality, Data Modeling, Big Data, NoSQL, Analytics and Reporting.
• Experience with normalized and dimensional data modeling as well as experience implementing metadata solutions.
• Experience in data warehouses, analytics, decision support reporting, data sourcing, data delivery, and data governance.
• Extensive experience with Data warehousing tools such as Oracle, Netezza, Teradata and BI Products such as Microstrategy, Cognos, Tableau and Spotfire.
• Must be deadline oriented, delivery and execution capable, able to identify risks and quickly resolve issues and, influence outcomes to across multiple organizations, platforms and stakeholders.
• Able to think abstractly and reduce complex issues and/or solutions to simplified, actionable tasks.
• Able to influence and work at all levels of engagement - from stakeholder influence and Agile methodology deliverables.
