Every cabinet level agency in the United States-and 20 of the country's largest federal government agencies-have worked with Accenture Federal Services to achieve outcomes and move toward high performance. Join us and you can help our federal clients achieve what matters most, powering the services that touch the nation every day.   SAP Public Sector Grants Managements Lead responsible for the implementation of the SAP GM/Grantee (Sub-recipient)  solution in alignment with overall business requirements including business process design, fit/gap analysis, system configuration, roles and permissions, RICEW design, testing, and deployment.

The SAP GM Grantee Leadwill provide subject matter expertise and will be responsible for design of the business processes and the SAP system for GM Grantee solution, and ensuring that the configured system conforms to the enterprise-wide design approach while meeting the needs of end users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gaining Expertise and functional understanding of GM systems, architecture, and operating environment of client infrastructure.
  • Work with Business Process team to support finance business requirements gathering and to translate Statement of Requirement into design for SAP Grants Management.
  • Work with other value streams to identify integration touch points for project systems accounting.
  • Participate and coordinate the business partner team and other cross domain teams.
  • Responsible for developing high quality functional specifications for all custom enhancements, custom objects and work closely with the technical development team to ensure accurate and timely code that matches the designs.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise integration team on field mapping and design of interfaces with the non-SAP applications / legacy systems.
  • Perform system configuration and manual set up needed to implement the solution for the Grants Management-Grantee solution and tracking functionality.
  • Participate in the creation and on-going review of training materials for initial design and future changes.
  • Work with the business process and data teams to support data cleansing and data conversion activities for GM.
  • Support the cutover activities and troubleshooting during the launch and the hyper care period.

Desired Skills and Experience

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years of Functional/technical proficiency with a minimum of 3 full lifecycle SAP implementations
  • 6 years of consulting experience.
  • 5 years of experience implementing SAP GM module-(Grantee side)
  • 5 years of experience designing, configuring, and testing SAP Grants Management- (Grantee-Sub-Recipient/Passthrough Grant scenarios), training users, defining support procedures, and implementing business solutions based on customer requirements.
  • 4 years of experience in global deployment(s) of SAP with multiple Accounting procedures
  • 4 years of experience in Grantee Program Management, Application Assessment, Agreement and Planning
Preferred Skills:   
  • Understanding of integration amongst core SAP modules.
  • Good communication (written & oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate well across global delivery teams, and multi-cultural integrator and client teams.
  • Ability to analyze functional and technical needs and identify gaps and alternative solutions relative to existing design.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; effective interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to lead a team, coordinate team efforts towards a common goal and drive result oriented effort across the teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-team environment.
  • Experience working with non-profit, public sector clients.
  • Multi-cultural, international work experience.
