Perform the maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical production and supporting plant equipment.

• Possess mastery in two or more of the following disciplines; forklift and auto repair, refrigeration, fabrication, carpentry, electrical and electronics, pump and machinery repair.
• Perform the maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical production and supporting plant equipment:
o Troubleshoot, investigate, analyze and identify equipment malfunctions.
o Perform welding, fabrication, electrical, plumbing and other related projects.
o Assist in the maintenance of a spare-parts inventory for all winery equipment.
o Maintain water systems including but not limited to:
o Determine and control proper chemical dosage rates for wellhead disinfection and distribution residual maintenance.
o Repair and maintain presses, pumps, filtration, refrigeration and any related equipment used in wine production.
o Investigate water quality problems in the distribution system.
o Shutdown, repair, disinfect and test broken water mains.
o Oversee the flushing, cleaning, and pigging of existing water mains.
o Disinfect and test domestic water well systems
o Drain, clean, disinfect, and maintain distribution reservoirs.
o Operate pumps and related flow and pressure control and storage.
o Maintain and/or adjust system flow and pressure requirements, control flows to meet system demands.
• Daily completion of all paperwork related to maintenance assignments and functions.
• Responsible for understanding Quality Management System related activities, including the quality policy and ISO awareness. (Production/Operations)
• Perform general winery maintenance as needed.
• Maintain all work areas and equipment in clean and sanitary condition.
Job Requirements
• Education: High School diploma
• California State Certification – Grade D1 Water Distribution Operator (preferred).
• 4 to 5 years previous maintenance experience in production environment.
• Proven strong mechanical aptitude.
• Background in fabrication, welding, electrical, plumbing, auto repair and/or other related mechanical fields preferred.
• Problem-solving skills in mechanical and electrical areas.
• Demonstrates a highly motivated work ethic.
• Ability to accurately follow instructions and take direction.
• Ability to respond to frequently changing production pressures.
• Ability to handle numerous projects in progress at one time.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Valid California Driver’s license.
Working Conditions:
• Must be able to lift 55 pounds.
• Exposure to outside elements (heat, wet and/or damp conditions, cold).
• May require heavy physical work (lifting, bending, climbing, pulling, or squatting for long periods of time).
• Long hours during crush and peak periods (including all shifts).
• Work site may be any one of Trinchero Family Estates’ facilities.
