Functional Consultant NetSuite - Singapore

The Consultant will be responsible for working directly with customers to document and validate their business requirements and map them to NetSuite functionality. In addition, the Consultant will work with the customer to configure/customize NetSuite application to meet their business requirements. You will be required to conduct sessions with the customer over the phone or in-person, attend project meetings and provide status on progress of activities and deliverables. Finally, the Consultant will provide customers with as needed consulting and general assistance and be a ‘go-to’ resource for specific functional areas. You will be expected to contribute to the solutions repository/best practices and knowledge share activities at NetSuite. 
Responsibilities:

  • Daily interaction with customers, delivery of NetSuite solutions and close communication with Project Manager and other team members.
  • Facilitating customer workshops, driving the agenda, securing support at all levels and implementing NetSuite.
  • Documenting and overseeing the documentation of business processes, business mapping, business requirements and meeting notes.
  • Attend internal meetings including knowledge transfers and Q&A.
  • Achieve billable targets and revenue contribution.

Qualifications/Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Management Information Systems, Accounting, or Business.
  • CPA/CA Qualification will be highly regarded.
  • 5-6+ years’ experience in systems applications consulting (ERP/Financials), either externally with a large Tier-One SI/Consulting firm or ERP Vendor.
  • NetSuite implementation experience will be highly regarded.
  • Experience in one of the following: Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail, Warehousing or General Business.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills (both verbal and written).
  • Mandarin and Cantonese language skills will be highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated experience in translating customer business requirements into workable business solutions, either as a software solution or a re-engineering initiative.
  • Customer relationship acumen and experienced consulting skills.
  • Experience in change management and business process mapping in support or in conjunction with a major IS initiative.
  • Experience with Accounting, Sales Force Automation, Marketing Campaigns and Web presence applications.
  • Professional Services Consulting experience with either Oracle, SAP, Infor, Epicor, Great Plains, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, or NetSuite.
