Factory Controller Spring Professional - Singapore

JOB TITLE: Factory Controller 
LOCATION: Singapore 
REPORTING: Cluster Business Controller and indirectly to Factory Director 

JOB SCOPE: 
Our client is one of the biggest players in the packaging industry, looking for a Factory controller to be the Expected to be the overall guardian of internal control in the factory 

Responsibilities as below:

• Support the Factory director serving as an integral member of the Factory Management team by providing input related to Financial/Cost management, Operations, Planning, Investment and Forecasting proactively
• Co-ordinate and supervise the preparation of the various factory budgets on time
• Monitor actual factory financial performance against plan, to prepare variance analyses and coordinate the release of metrics and other information.
• Follow up on monthly material cost tracking and product costing deep dive
• To actively monitor the fixed cost budget and find/assist savings opportunities on all areas
• Provide business case & cash flow analysis for factory investments
• Establish follow-up on capital investment both actual spend vs approved level
• Provide factory monthly KPI analysis & corrective action
• Assign as a Factory Cost Pillar Leader (World Class Manufacturing)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting & Finance or Engineering
• At least 5 years of relevant Cost/ Business Analysis experience in a MNC
• Prior finance experience in a manufacturing or consumer products company at the factory level is desired
• Ability to interface effectively with factory and corporate team members and senior management
• Competence in the following areas: business, cost and price analysis, business risk analysis, planning & forecasting techniques and reporting principles & system
• Skilled at coaching employees and facilitating process and cultural changes as needed
• Excellent data analysis and trend identifications skills with a focus on problem solving skills
• A confident personality with strong communication & presentation skills
• Strong computer skills, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and business management software, SAP preferred.
