General Job Scope

The SAP SCM Extended Warehouse Management (eWM) Sr. Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting the SAP SCM eWM suite in our Singapore Logistic Distribution Centers and Plant warehouse. The Business Analyst must be able to gather and interpret user issues in using SAP. The Business Analyst must apply their expertise in a business / technical system area to a current information technology tool set and work with users to improve processes.

Tasks

  • Support SAP SCM eWM for Singapore facility including master data, Interface with handhelds and configure delivery, shipment and receiving areas.
  • Conduct functional testing to ensure accurate configuration and development after CR
  • Prepare process flows and training documents to teach SAP SCM eWM to business users.
  • Organize and coordinate integration testing scenarios whenever applicable
  • Develop / maintain interfaces that utilize XI, iDoc and CIF functionality.
  • Improve upon current processes or new business functionality including cross-docking, quality holds, and ability to interface EWM with handheld guns, labeling and barcoding.
  • Review, implement and write OSS notes to SAP.
  • Perform support pack and release upgrades as necessary.
  • Work with onsite and offshore team of people from application, technology and business teams.
  • Ability to work with information technology development team(s) by preparing written business and technical requirements / specifications.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Engineering or equivalent technical work experience with at least 6-8 years Information Technology experience, and 5 or more years’ experience in SAP warehouse management or SAP Extended Warehouse Management modules
  • Must have proven experience in multiple implementations of SAP SCM eWM or SAP WM.
  • 3-4 years’ Experience in Semiconductor industry is preferred
  • Good knowledge of Cross-docking, Splitting, containerization, Labeling, QA Hold, Bar coding etc is a plus.
  • 3-4 years’ Experience with Doc and / or CIF experience.
  • Must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience with writing and / or applying SAP OSS notes.
  • Must be self-motivated and capable of working under minimal supervision of a Project Lead.
  • Must possess leadership, organizational, communication and time management skills.
  • Must participate as the senior WM team member proving inputs on SAP EWM and train other members of the team.
  • Must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills and be able to work in a SAP implementation team
  • Must have detailed knowledge of warehouse management process
  • Specific knowledge of current IT technology toolset needed to support said business/technical process. ( Visio, PowerPoint, Testing tools etc)
  • Must have cross-functional business/technical process Knowledge and understanding of interface tools involved.
  • Must possess the necessary leadership, team building, motivation, and delegation skills to efficiently coordinate the efforts of a team toward accomplishing a common goal.
  • Ability to evaluate, recognize need and establish change initiatives to meet business/technical needs.
  • This position interacts with the non-information technology business areas to help establish direction, improve customer service, reduce cost or provide for a competitive advantage through IT system deployment.
