Headquartered in Germany they are looking to expand their Singapore branch and are seeking an IT Infrastructure Architect to join their team
Enterprise Architect / IT Infrastructure Architect
Role
The successful candidate will architect and implement technology for enabling efficient and cost-effective information processing and communication technologies. You will focus on business and IT priorities alignment and create innovative IT strategies to support business. Reporting to Global Head of ICT, you will be involved in defining medium - long term plan and to execute the defined IT strategies. You will work with the relevant teams to prioritize, manage and execute the Master Plan.
Responsibilities
- Design and propose technical solutions, policies, and standards, including those for network architecture, data centre, end user services, security and disaster recovery.
- Work closely with the operational team in delivering robust IT services, improve existing systems as well as provide remediation for existing system issues
- Produce effective technical documentation where needed
- Ensure alignment of solutions to business strategies and architecture principles
- Evaluate solution proposals from partners and vendors
Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements
- Typically 10 years’ experience with in-depth knowledge in infrastructure design and Implementation, with at least 3 years in an Enterprise Architecture capacity
- Broad and deep knowledge in current IT technologies
- Proficiency in technology specification and standards documentation
- Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude, creative with excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills including strong persuasive techniques.
- Strong presentation and organizational skills
- Able to travel as required
- ITIL certification, TOGAF or other Architect certification such as IASA or Open CA is an added advantage
