IBM is looking for a senior logistics/distribution and WMS resource to lead WMS projects from a functional design, testing, configuration, and training perspective. The candidate must have a strong background in implementing and leading WMS packages (especially Manhattan WMS) and of retail logistics and distribution best practices. Ideally, the candidate has implemented processes and systems in both direct to consumer (E-commerce) and store fulfillment warehouses.
WMS Senior Managing Consultant
This role ensures that client needs are satisfied through the development, implementation and delivery of WMS solutions in response to client requirements. The candidate is responsible for the overall project plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirements for the delivery organization. Incumbents are required to manage efforts of IBM and client employees, as well as third-party vendors (e.g., WMS vendor, Material Handling Vendor, etc.), to ensure that an integrated solution is provided to meet the client needs. Expert level knowledge is required in distribution and logistics processes, WMS implementations, and overall project management. The candidate will hold overall responsibility for cost, schedule and contractual deliverables.

- At least 3 years experience in Retail Supply Chain
- At least 3 years experience in Logistics & Distribution
- Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
- English: Intermediate

- Master's Degree
- At least 6 years experience in Manhattan WMS experience or other WMS (JDA, High Jump, etc.)
