Stoneridge Software, a Microsoft Certified Gold Partner, seeks a personable, highly motivated and customer focused Dynamics AX Account Manager to join our growing Microsoft Dynamics Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) team. The Account Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining mutually valuable, long-term business relationships with potential and existing Microsoft Dynamics AX customers. Works independently and with business development and support teams to identify sales opportunities.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Actively engage with key targets, influencers and decision makers within customer and prospect organizations
- Develop post-implementation customer account plans to capitalize on solution offerings
- Proactively assess and understand customer business requirements and determine how to best meet those objectives with Stoneridge services and/or additional products
- Prospect and close specified quota of services and support contracts
- Develop, effectively communicate, and negotiate statements of work for maximum revenue potential
- Ensure ongoing customer satisfaction through regular and scheduled communication
- Leverage relationships within personal, professional and Microsoft Partner network to identify new business opportunities
- Represent Stoneridge Software at industry events, conferences and within business community
- Maintain strong knowledge of industry trends, advancements in technology, and Microsoft’s product offerings and enhancements
- Set aside time for self-development by attending training or self-learning on key subjects
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Accounting, or Information Technology
- 10+ years ERP experience, preferably Microsoft Dynamics
- 5+ years strategic sales experience in business-to-business environment
- Experience working with Customer Relationship Management tools, preferably Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- History of consistent sales achievement in highly competitive markets
- Strong technical aptitude
- Knowledge of Dynamics Sure Step methodology and the Stoneridge implementation methodology
- Ability to work primarily independently and concurrently manage multiple projects
- Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English
- Ability to travel to customer sites and events when requested
