Low-Latency C# Developer (Contract) Leading High-Frequency Prop. Firm - London, United Kingdom

A World Renowned HFT Firm is looking to hire exceptional Software Engineers (C#/Java) on a contract basis to join their highly talented workforce.

The group are of the world’s most renowned High Frequency and Systematic Trading companies top open an office in London in the past couple of years (alongside Chicago and NYC offices) and is interested in opening discussions with talented and ambitious programmers with excellent numerical, problem solving and technical skills. Applicants may or may not have prior financial experience.

The further growth of this organisation is reliant on continual investment in technology to support highly computerised trading strategies and the on-going research and design of algorithms and software to exploit opportunities in worldwide financial markets.  The company currently employs around 150 people and is looking to grow the office in the London area in order to support its growth and tap into the pool of talented software engineers.

Applicants are expected to have detailed experience of C# or Java and real-time systems.  Engineers that have a genuine passion for software development & optimisation as well as building systems that have genuine visibility and impact on a company’s profit are of particular interest.  Experience of building latency sensitive systems or working with and normalising very large data sets are also of interest.

Successful applicants will work in one of a number of business streams from trading systems and electronic market connectivity, to algorithm research and optimisation.
