The main job of our Merchandiser is to visit the key to Cold Storage supermarkets and check the movement, sales and display of our products. The selected candidate will be trained in our Dubai or Australia office for 2-3 weeks before we place him in Singapore. On completion of initial training, our Merchandising Manager will come to Singapore for 10-15 days for on the job training and deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Visit allocated partner supermarket chains as per roster
- Assist and advise operations team at our partner supermarkets on proper display and continues availability of our brands (Australian food and beverages)
- Report to Manager on regular basis on product movements, market conditions, stock situation and any other specific issues
- Assist operations team at partner supermarkets on stock transfers.
- Plan and allocate products according to sales and customer demands.
- Accountable for sales in assigned market.
Requirements:
- O level/Diploma with minimum 1 - 3 years’ retail operations experience
- Independent and a team player
- Service-oriented with good leadership and interpersonal skills
- Hands-on person
- Good English communication and interpersonal skills
- Good computer skills (MS office)
- Good knowledge of Singapore routes and locations
- Required to travel extensively (in Singapore) and engage in considerable physical activities.
- Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
- There is no fixed office location, the Merchandiser need to visit key Cold Storage stores as per the daily roster (may be 4 -5 stores per day for 2 hours in each store )
- Salary: $2500
- All travel expenses on actual basis.
- Laptop, mobile phone and internet will be provided for reporting and communication.
