Responsibilities:
  • Plan and carry out fixed equipment/piping inspection via on-stream risk-based monitoring programs and downtime inspection activities
  • Advise business teams/units on inspection program findings and recommend appropriate solutions for corrosion issues, to ensure safe and reliable operation of equipment
  • Investigate equipment failure and recommend cost-effective methods of repair and material selection
  • Maintain effective working relationships and communication with business teams/units, to eliminate or minimize material and corrosion issues
  • Monitor latest developments in inspection/materials and corrosion technology, via inter-affiliate technology transfers, network communications and meetings
  • Develop and update piping and fixed equipment strategy as leading indicators for reliability
  • Maintain effective Inspection Data Management system and filing system, including periodic updates
  • Provide appropriate recommendations, mitigations and timely updates on equipment degradation problems
  • Provide quality assurance on project construction and maintenance works to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and specifications
  • Conduct reviews and/or updates on Materials Suitability Reviews and Equipment Strategies to ensure equipment reliability
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical/Materials Engineering from a recognized university, preferably with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in the petrochemical or a similar industry
  • Candidates with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with more than 5 years of experience in the petrochemical industry working in fixed equipment or inspection related areas, are welcome to apply
  • Knowledge of materials selection, Non-Destructive Examination techniques, welding and risk-based inspection procedures, would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with major API codes for pressure vessel, piping and tankage will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge and ability to use computer programs such as MS Office, etc.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, not afraid of heights and working in confined spaces
  • A team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:
  • Review the design of Fixed Equipment and Piping to ensure sound engineering and compliance with code and regulation
  • Perform Equipment Fitness for Service assessments by sound engineering analysis using code calculation tools and API 579.
  • Perform equipment troubleshooting and  equipment failure root cause failure analysis to provide recommendations for equipment repairs and improvement
  • Maintain effective working relationships and communication with business teams/units, to recommend mechanical design improvement to assist total plant reliability
  • Work closely with Inspection counter-part and support daily activities and participate in the development of fixed equipment and piping strategy
  • Support project development and execution in front end studies, development of equipment specifications, engineering review, start-up support, and commissioning
  • Support daily maintenance and major shutdown maintenance such as turnarounds.
Requirements:
  • A good Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the petrochemical or a similar industry
  • Familiarity with relevant ASME & API codes & standards for pressure vessel, piping and tankage
  • Familiarity with design tools such as PV-Elite & CAESAR is a must
  • Familiarity with inspection practice or material corrosion will be an added advantage
  • An effective team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills

Mechanical Engineer- MNC (Pressure Vessel/Mech. Design/QA/Oil & Gas/Tuas)

Responsibilities: 
  • Work independently to execute all mechanical related project activities, especially pressure vessel and/or rotating equipment
  • Participate in piping design review for packaged equipment;
  • Evaluate vendors quotations and conduct technical clarifications;
  • Review vendor drawings and documents.
  • Provide mechanical support for other engineering disciplines.
  • Perform engineering design and prepare specifications for vessels. columns, tanks, heat exchanger, and rotating equipment;
  • Follow up with vender to ensure timely delivery of the purchased equipment as per the purchasing requisition
  • Check compliance of mechanical design with international codes and practices, and customer specifications, as well as local requirement in specific asian countries.
  • QA/QC inspection for mechanical equipment or piping.
  • Any other work as required by the Management
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent with 5 years of mechanical design and QA/QC experience in relevant field.
  • Experience in international code and local requirement for pressure vessel and piping in Asian countries, eg China, Japan or Korea.
  • Experience and knowledge in mixer, extruder, pelletizer in high pressure, high viscosity, and other solid handling equipment is added advantage.
  • Project management experience including procurement, vender management, cost control and scheduling is added advantage.

Maintenance Coordinator Needed in Singapore

Job Description
  • Coordinate and plan for all maintenance activities for the site, including Preventive Maintenance (PM), Corrective Maintenance, and Shut down activities
  • Ensure all EHS and Process critical PMs are tracked and completed in a timely manner; report into the PSM KPIs monthly
  • Maintain the Contractor management program for the site to ensure all contractors are trained to work on site
  • Ensure all maintenance/repair/certification records are well documented and archived in SAP and other documentation archive system
  • Ensure all maintenance issues are recorded and participate in Root cause analysis (RCAs) on the events and issues learning.
  • Lead daily meeting with Operations and other stakeholders to plan and prioritize maintenance jobs and issue daily Maintenance report
  • Ensure all Plant systems are rigorously follow (Permit to work system, job safety analysis, risk assessment, Management of Change, Lockout)
  • Lead weekly backlog meeting to prioritize outstanding maintenance work
  • Issue weekly/monthly report on overdue and outstanding Preventive Maintenance
  • Lead and coordinate improvement projects (5S, reliability etc)
  • Coordinate all Statutory Maintenance activities like Pressure vessel, PSV inspection etc.
  • Ensure daily Safety toolbox talk is carried out to send a strong safety reminder at the beginning of each day
  • Serve as a champion for all safety improvement plans/ideas to raise safety engagement.
  • Ensure proper accounting of spares in SAP and other inventory accounting system
  • Maintain critical inventory list and proper housekeeping of the store (flammable cabinets, critical spares)
  • Track delivery items and ensure proper issue and receipts of store materials
  • Coordinate financial audits on spares and store items
Job Requirements
  • Technical Education with 7-10 years of planning experience in the petrochemical or related industry
  • Effective communication, human relation and organizational skills to work effectively with team/workgroup or those outside the formal line of authority to accomplish organizational goals.
  • Possesses strong analytical and planning skills with a good technical background
  • Strong people management skill
  • Good SAP Maintenance module knowledge
