Principal – Business Consulting (SAP B1 HANA)
As a Principal consultant, you will be leading teams of consultants to define, design, build, test, and deploy SAP solutions and processes. You will interface with customers to build confidence and lead/guide the team in conducting due diligence and issue resolution. You will anchor proposal preparation and contribute to branding, thought leadership, knowledge management and capability-building with the objective of providing high-quality and value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
As a Principal consultant, you will be leading teams of consultants to define, design, build, test, and deploy SAP solutions and processes. You will interface with customers to build confidence and lead/guide the team in conducting due diligence and issue resolution. You will anchor proposal preparation and contribute to branding, thought leadership, knowledge management and capability-building with the objective of providing high-quality and value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Responsibilities:
• Delivery
o Lead/drive requirements gathering workshops for blueprint design purposes
o Provides solution design experience in recommending and assessing design solutions and alternatives
o Provides input on design and integration issues based on knowledge, previous implementation experience and SAP best practices
o Provides input and recommendation on technical implications of specific design solutions
o Ensure end to end design provides a practical, integrated business solution
o Ensure solution design is compatible with future strategies and vision
o Validate project design and communicate potential issues and obstacles
o Leading business process design workshops, capturing requirements, documenting solution and testing
o Developing plans based on a thorough understanding of systems development life cycle (SDLC) and SAP HANA
o Manage client interactions and expectations; demonstrate subject matter expertise, address client needs, provide value propositions, and manage resource requirements, workflows, budgets, billing, collections; prepare and coordinate complex written and verbal materials
o Manage individuals and teams; track and direct performance against objectives, create an atmosphere of trust and collaboration, and encourage improvement and innovation
o Identify issues, risks, and project team conflicts, to develop a timely resolution
o Serve as liaison between client, project team, development team, and other stakeholders
o Review status, manage schedules, monitor progress, and prepare status reports
• Sales
o To work with pursuit teams to develop proposals and present and orals for SAP enabled transformation engagements
• Mentoring – Develop and mentor senior consultants, consultants and analysts in the SAP enabled ERP Transformation practice
• Thought Leadership – To continue to develop and enhances Infosys’ thought leadership and methods, tools and templates in the space of ERP enabled transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience with three years of experience in SAP HANA or comparable consulting services
• U.S. citizens and those already authorized to work in the U.S. (Infosys is unable to sponsor at this time)
• Ability to travel up to 4 days a week to multiple local, state and national client locations
