Job Title: Hardware Design Engineer
Department: Power System Design Engineering
The candidate will work in the power systems engineering group, contributing to the design, specification, qualification, and sustaining support of high-performance power supply and dc/dc converter designs for future EMC products. Assignments will be made to specific projects as a team member, working under the direction of more senior-level members of the power systems design staff. The candidate must be a highly motivated, technically competent, and results-focused individual, possessing good communication and learning skills.
Candidate Must Have a BS Or MS In EE Or Equivalent, And Interested In Power System Design Engineering. Key Skill Areas For This Discipline Include (but Are Not Limited To)
• Power electronics design
• Control system analysis and design
• Analog circuit design
• Embedded microcontroller and logic design fundamentals
• Passive and semiconductor component application knowledge
• Basic understanding of mechanical and thermal design concepts
• Circuit Simulations
Also, the candidate should have good practical application skills, and familiarity with laboratory equipment, such as oscilloscopes, analyzers, and other system-level measurement systems. Strong interpersonal skills in initiative, teamwork, and achieving results are also required.
