Reporting to the APAC Parts Operation Manager and dotted line reporting to the Singapore & Malaysia Service Manager, this role has to focus on increasing customer satisfaction, providing high quality service to Service team and making contribution to the company's success.
The most important elements of the Parts Coordinator’s responsibilities will be :
- The efficient operation of Parts Planning activities by ensuring that reorder points are set at an appropriate level, inventory budget is met, while ensuring accuracy and minimal loss.
- Managing the import/export flow of parts to ensure products arrive, cleared, receipted and delivered on time and in good order to the 3PL or export customers
- The efficient operation of Parts Logistics activities by ensuring customer and FE parts order deliveries are made on time and in good order.
- Managing relationships with 3PL warehouse providers, carriers and forwarders. Collecting and disseminating KPI results to review performance against agreement terms.
- Creating Purchase Requisition (PR) related to Service and SG&A and processing Good Receipt ( GR)
Desired Skills and Experience
- Good understanding & experience in the Planning and Logistics operations including warehousing & WMS systems, transport, local importation/exportation requirements and related customs formalities.
- Enthusiastic and positive manner with a desire to provide excellent customer service & a proven track record of delivering on commitments.
- Self Motivator – requires little day to day supervision & has the ability to work under pressure and can prioritize work to deliver on commitments
- Team player with good communication skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels in a professional and respectful manner.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Ability to contribute positively in a changing environment and continually identify& implement improvements.
- Pro-active attitude - anticipating issues and problems and effectively resolving in a timely manner.
- Ability to be assertive when required to ensure business requirements are met.
- Process orientated with good follow-up and record keeping skills
- Good PC Skills - Microsoft Office & SAP
- Experienced in performance monitoring, to ensure KPIs are met and management reporting provided.
