This position is responsible to handle logistics operations such as GMP activities at RDC Singapore, support new product launches, planning and implementing of new artwork, inventory monitoring, tracking of material flows and support the importation processes as well as the delivery of the pharmaceutical products (on time, in full and compliant)for the East-Asia region.
A close collaboration with the different departments along with entire Supply Chain including international logistics & supply chain team in Boudry, the local and regional RA, Quality Assurance, Quality Logistics, Marketing, Commercial, Medical teams in Singapore and the Celgene affiliates in East-Asia as well as collaborate well with our RDC Singapore service provider.
The role is also responsible for the procurement of printed materials(PM), monitoring of GMP activities and shipping as well as inventory control. The incumbent will also participate in and support supply chain projects for East-Asia if necessary.
Responsibilities
• Day to day control of all inventories (FGs and PMs) at RDC Singapore for the East-Asia markets
• Day to day control of all inventories at local distributors / LSP level stored at the East-Asia markets
• Support implementation of Named Patient Program for Celgene products
• Support Supply Launches for the East-Asia markets in collaboration with all involved teams in the region as well as teams based in the HQs in Boudry and Summit as necessary
• Define the optimal strategy and timing to implement artworks variations for existing PMs in close collaboration with the respective RA function locally and/or regionally
• Supply Chain Planning via Oracle (ASCP – Advanced Supply Chain Planning) for the FGs for the East-Asia markets (final GMP production step at the regional hub in Singapore) Ensure the agreed frequency of shipments from the regional hub to the markets will be kept as contractual agreed with the relevant partners in each market
• Ensure that all planning activities for the RDC Singapore GMP operations are always done latest by the given monthly time lines
• Support the importation processes in the countries and ensure a smooth inbound handling on local level
• Manage independently the procurement process via Oracle for all PMs, ensuring sufficient stocks of compliant PM, and define the optimal strategy to implement new versions as required by the local HSA
• Support Celgene East-Asia country offices in inventory & replenishment planning
• Ensure the physical inventory holdings are in line with the stock levels in the ERP system records (Oracle), timely execute Oracle transactions (monthly stock reconciliation)
• Independently manage assigned tasks in Supply Chain projects for East-Asia region, gradually providing support to achieve project goals
• Ownership of supply chain related KPIs launched out of the international headquarter as well as develop country specific KPIs wherever is needed to better manage the respective local supply chains
QualificationsSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
• Hands on experience (2-3 years) in several of the following areas: supply chain operations, sales & operations planning, materials management, logistics, warehouse / physical distribution, and customer order fulfillment
• Degree in business, pharmaceutical or science (minimum Bachelor or equivalent)
• Experience in Pharmaceutical Industry strongly preferred
• Sufficient understanding of related areas like Finance, Commercial, Regulatory to enable successful cross-functional collaboration
• Strong interpersonal skills, be a team player and be willing to work in an environment where individual initiative and accountability to the team are required
• Able to work independently
• Good Microsoft Office skills especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word (and MS Project preferred)
• Experience as Oracle or SAP user
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Fluent in English, and preferably one other Asian language (Chinese preferred)
• Understand ethics, compliance, and business conduct issues pertaining to our industry
• Experience in Multi National Company preferred
