accessories, and components in the shop.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Other duties as assigned.
(Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following)
- Complete Service Technician Training; self-identify problem areas.
- To master knowledge of all types of refractory and insulation, their applications, and the ability to implement use in all type of units.
- To Complete Operator Training
- To master advanced welding and cutting skills: ARC, MIG, and oxyfuel cutting for plate, sheet, pipe and
structural steels.
- To master basic service skills including: Burner maintenance, blower cleaning, air and gas calibrations
and ability to complete accurate service documentation.
- Perform M-pyre 2.0 field upgrade.
- To master the ability to discuss with our customers the operation and maintenance of cremation equipment, including the ability to process cremations of human and animal remains
- To master basic troubleshooting of M-pyre 2.0.
- Participate in mandatory after-hours hot-line telephone service rotation
- Field Work: Service, calibrate, repair, rebuild and upgrade all models of cremation equipment
- Shop work: Install firebrick and refractory lining, component assembly and connections, electrical and plumbing installation of cremation equipment; participate in mandatory hot-line telephone service rotation.

Education and Experience
Education: Associates degree (A.A.), or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
Experience: over 3 months and up to and including 12 months
Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Certifications, Driver’s License, Registrations
Must have current driver’s license
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure
manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and
decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Other Qualifications
Must be able to travel by car, truck, air or train for out of town stays up to three weeks at a time.
Some overtime could be mandatory.
