IT Support Analyst Physio-Control Singapore Pte.Ltd. - Singapore

• Resolve client technical issues escalated from the service desk, both on site and remotely:
 Isolate and determine root cause of technical problems based on client and service desk input and your store of knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
 Troubleshoot and analyze symptoms related to computer system errors to determine effective resolution of client issues.
 Provide hands-on technical support for hardware (printers, desktop, laptop, drivers, monitors, cabling, etc.) and software (internally developed applications, computer operating systems, internet applications, various drivers, etc.).
• Interact with escalation resources and vendors to resolve technical issues as required.
• Provide input for new processes and procedures as appropriate to improve customer experience and meet Physio business imperatives.
• Participate in initiatives such as training, deployment, hardware review and integration.
• Provide client consulting to assist in making technology decisions. Recommend current supported software applications and hardware to best meet client requirements.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge on all newly purchased and existing supported desktop software, hardware, and systems.
• Assist with the testing of new or upgraded PC software and hardware releases as required.
• Ensure that Physio-Control’s systems and information are protected in accordance with Physio-Control’s Policies and Standards.
• Gather business requirements; scope, plan and execute projects applying technology and process to further business initiatives.
• Must be able to work independently, conscientiously, and diligently, without close regular supervision
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to successfully collaborate with business partners and IT colleagues. Commitment to serving the APAC team and facilitating their work, business goals and company initiatives.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Desired Skills and Experience

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent technical training
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken)

PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Three years’ experience supporting Microsoft operating systems
• Three years’ experience maintaining Dell computer hardware
• Three years’ of Microsoft Office Application support
• Microsoft Office 365 environment support experience, including OneDrive, Sharepoint, Lync, and Outlook
• Understanding of and ability to configure Active Directory, DFS, Group Policy, home directory management, user profiles, NTFS permissions, and other user profile objects on Windows Server versions 2008 R2 and 2012 R2
• Experience with VMWare and ESXi 5.x; virtualization technology
• Experience supporting systems in a manufacturing and regulated environment
• Avaya telecom equipment experience
• Asian languages including Japanese
• A great team player who can work independently.
