Job Description

The IT Regional Business Interface (RBI), Southeast Asia reports to the IT Regional Director and is responsible for engaging with business stakeholders to identify IT requirements for regional business operations and ensuring delivery of effective IT solutions and services in support of these requirements. 

This can include but is not limited to:

• Maintain regional customer/business/program profiles
• Engage with stakeholders to represent IT and establish priorities for IT projects, initiatives and services
• Ensure development of IT solutions and capabilities that support business requirements



• Documents business IT requirements and translates into specifications
• Identify available solutions in conjunction with other IT stakeholders
• Conducts cost benefit analysis and provides recommendations
• Secures resources, ensure implementation, support change management and ensure sign off by the customer against the acceptance criteria


• Communicate status of IT activities and initiatives to regional stakeholders
• Contribute to service improvement activities within the IT organization
• Support long range business planning in conjunction with other IT stakeholders

Some travel may be required. This role also requires significant flexibility as off-hours activity will be needed to coordinate with globally dispersed teammates and stakeholders.

Skills and competencies:


• Ability to represent IT to a broad range of internal stakeholders
• Comprehensive business knowledge particularly in Aerospace and Defence sectors
• Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise level IT solutions and services
• Ability to develop IT solutions to business problems that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives
• Able to drive projects to successful completion through influence and teaming
• Strong English language communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment

This is an international local hire position, the pay and benefits will be determined at local level not part of U.S payroll.

This job may be level 3 or 4 and will determined by the level of experience and qualifications of the selected candidate, in relation to the scope and responsibility of the position.

Qualifications


• Technical bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Extensive experience in business engagement, analysis and IT solution analysis across infrastructure and application domains
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams
